KKM Krav Maga
Krav Maga is a close-combat self-defense system, not a traditional martial art or sport — no forms, no competition rules. KKM's version was developed by Chairman Koo Bon-geun, a former special-forces instructor, and adapted specifically for real-world defense.
Two classes per week at either location for two weeks, no obligation to continue. It's the same training everyone else gets — nothing scaled down.
No. KKM is a single system with a beginner-to-advanced progression built in, so new students train alongside more experienced ones from day one. As you progress, you can test for belt rank and work all the way up to instructor certification.
Yes. KKM Krav Maga comes from close-combat methods built for South Korean special forces and police, then adapted for civilians. It's trained specifically to work under real, unpredictable pressure — not choreography.
Strikes and defense using every limb, grappling and ground defense, escapes from grabs and holds, defense against armed attackers (guns, knives, blunt objects), and multiple-attacker scenarios — all part of the KKM Ku System.
KKM Krav Maga is offered for ages 15 and up — teens and adults train together in the same class.
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in — black or gray is preferred. No gear or uniform is required to start — we'll let you know if anything else is needed once you're booked in.
